Introducing my EVERYTHING JAN SERIES!!!

I just posted and launched my EVERYTHING JAN SERIES!!! YAY me!

This product line is solely devoted to products aligned to Jan Richardson's NEW BOOK entitled The Next Step Forward in Guided Reading.  Have you heard of it yet?  If not, this needs to be your Summer Read...for sure!

My first two products are related to sight word fluency and practice.

Everything JAN Series...Sight Word Speed Drills {Jan Richardson Levels A-I} is going to get your students fluent in reading sight words as related to their level.  Sight word automaticity means that your students should be able to read sight words in 3 seconds or less, as fast as they say their name. I like to think about fluency as the bridge to comprehension.  It is the key to getting students moving up to the next level for guided reading.  Boy, they will feel like super great readers using this product below.

Summer and Ice Cream...just go together!

Well, Summer is almost here...and your students are getting restless and I bet classroom management is almost impossible! Why not entice your students with an end of year ice cream party?  But make them earn it!

Hi there,

Did you know that sight word fluency is key to getting children to learn to reading fluently? Sight words should be read with a 3 second automaticity...no sounding out or stumbling!

 Researcher Jan Richardson notes that children really own a sight word when they can say it and write it with automaticity, and without visual prompting.
